I am a Professor, Author, Educator, Organization Development and Leadership Facilitator with over 27 years of experience spanning academia, industry, executive education, and organizational development. My professional journey has been shaped by a continuing interest in one central question:
How can we better understand people and organizations, and enable them to perform, develop, and succeed?
My work sits at the intersection of leadership, emotional intelligence, organization development, behavioural science, and education. I bring together academic knowledge, practitioner experience, evidence-based approaches, psychometric assessment, and reflective practice to help individuals and organizations address complex people and organizational challenges.

Professional Journey
I hold a PhD in Business and have undertaken advanced education and professional certifications in areas including leadership, emotional intelligence, coaching, organization development, talent management, and strategic human resource management.
Over the course of my career, I have worked across universities, corporations, and executive education environments. These experiences have given me the opportunity to engage with people at different stages of their professional journeys—from students and emerging professionals to senior leaders and executives.
As a Professor of Practice, I particularly enjoy bringing theory and practice together. My role involves translating research and scholarly thinking into learning experiences, leadership development interventions, executive education programmes, and practical approaches to organisational challenges.
I am a Certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer and Assessor for EQ-i® and EQ 360®, certified by Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), Canada. I use psychometrically robust assessment and structured feedback to support leadership development, self-awareness, and organizational effectiveness.
Teaching, Writing & Practice
I believe that meaningful learning happens when knowledge, reflection, and application come together.
My teaching and executive education work therefore goes beyond transferring knowledge. I encourage learners and leaders to question assumptions, understand their own behaviour, examine their impact on others, and translate insights into action.
As an author, I use writing as another way of exploring and communicating ideas. My books, articles, research, and videos reflect my interests across leadership, behaviour, education, organisations, and human development.
I am particularly interested in making academic and research-based ideas accessible, relevant, and useful to practitioners, educators, students, and leaders.
Whether through teaching, executive education, consulting, research, writing, or conversation, I seek to create ideas and experiences that help people understand better, lead better, learn better, and work better.
